What made you believe?
How could your ego grow that big?
What did you achieve?
You act like life is a solo gig
Imagine your future, what do you see?
Only you or does it embrace me?
Your wise men so saintly fulfilled
Enlightened by God and prophecy skilled
They sat a date for my unavoidable end
When there’s no return and faults can’t be mended
They sat a date for my unavoidable end
When there’s no return
Your end is near
Cruel and sincere
But not by your hand
I’ve got it all planned
You’re slowly killing me
Yes that's true
But it's not about me, it's all about you
You're too dumb to realize
You're breaking me down
But it's you who dies
Suddenly life will drop off
Suddenly you'll hopefully see why you’re not my creator
I'm not here for you
I leave when I want to
Just watch me when I do
This is my favorite metal album of all time. The only bad thing is that the vocals are somewhat buried in the mix. Otherwise, the record perfectly blends a mix of metal genres with excellent songcraft. A record you'll listen to again and again. The Real Nick House
A truly stellar death/doom album with heavy doses of black metal. Tracks like Isolation, Child of Light, and Broken Hymns deliver the sorrowful and icy tone of this album, elevated by the stirring cello compositions of Raphael Weinroth-Browne. The album delivers a deeply satisfying crescendo in Becoming Intangible before stirring the soul once again with Epilogue. Matt Richardson
